TEN SECONDS IS ALL YOU NEED
10 Second Mixtape is a casual multiplayer music game built around creating tiny songs with real players from around the world. You don't need musical experience or perfect timing, the idea is simply to experiment with sounds and have fun.
Every track is created by players, so the music you hear can range from surprisingly catchy to wonderfully chaotic. Your contribution can become part of someone else's song and eventually reach The Venue.

Build a Band One Layer at a Time
When you start a session, you're given a random instrument and bandmate before recording your 10-second musical part. You can then choose demo tapes created by other players to add new layers to your track.
Once the song is complete, your band performs it at The Venue, where other players can listen and rate the result. Those ratings can influence how often your band gets booked in other players' games.
Meet Other Players Through Music
The Venue features an ever-growing playlist of player-made bands. You can listen to different creations, rate performances, and eventually hear your own track appear alongside music made by people from around the world. Because the songs are player-generated, every visit can bring a completely different musical lineup.

Quick Tips for Better Mixtapes
- Don't overthink your 10-second recording, simple sounds can work surprisingly well.
- Try different instruments to see which one fits your band.
- Listen to available demo tapes before choosing your next layer.
- Experiment with unusual combinations instead of always choosing the safest option.
- If you're using headphones, wired headphones are preferable because Bluetooth audio delay can affect timing.
